Refund policy
Returns for Online Purchases
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
We understand that shopping online isn't always the easiest. For a vacuum to be eligible for a return they must be in new or "like new" condition with all original packaging, accessories, and instruction books. For all other items to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with any applicable tags and packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@richardsonmason.com. Please note that returns will not be accepted unless you first receive authorization from us.
If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. You are responsible for all return shipping and insurance. Please include a copy of return authorization with your item(s). Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be refunded.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Included in this list are: central vacuum units, Austin Air Purifiers and filters, Vapamore steam cleaners, batteries, and vacuum belts. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Vacuum cleaners exposed to water, drywall dust, or hazardous materials such as lead or mold are not eligible for return. If a vacuum is returned in any of these conditions, it will not be refunded.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges. Please instead request return of eligible item(s) and make a separate purchase for the new item(s).
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
